Ice Storms in Indiana are common. There was a sheet of ice from the first ice storm of the season that was 3 inches thick on most of the roads for a couple of weeks. This is a picture of our backyard. The snow is about 1 feet deep, and the boys on many days could've ice skated on the top. It took great effort to "dig for treasure". Being from Utah, it was something I hadn't ever seen before.
William James (far right) is my boy's best friend. He is only 2, but Jackson (age 4) and him are pretty much tied together at the hip. Brenan, being 2 also, is always ready to give a good punch, or take a coveted toy away. He seems to spice up everything.
